Well! I just got off AIM to go to bed before I realised a bit of my hair's still damp and since I tend not to use the hair dryer because it just plain takes too long and Texas is hot enough to have to blow burning air in my scalp. Plus I have no patience for it. Sort of. Hm.. unless my sister does it - but when she does, she tends to burn the back of my head and neck a bit. And I swear she knows it and enjoys every bit of it. SOOO... here I am in the early hours of Mother's Day. :) By the way! Happy Mother's Day everyone! haha...
Nothing much has happened. I go to my TestMasters classes which are quite... interesting. I believe I've told you about my first class. Well, my second class was quite fun and interesting. OK. There are these two Taiwanese guys, right? They sit in back of me (we have no assigned seats) and they just moved here from there. They know enough English to converse but I found out today that they dunno how to read English that well. I found out like this:
AsianGuy 1: *raises up hand*
Matt (teacher): *comes over* Yes?
AsianGuy 2: *haltingly* I need some help.
Matt: OK, what do you need help on?
AsianGuy 2: Well...
AsianGuy 1: He can't read. *snickers*
Matt: OH!
lol... yeah. It was weird and odd. I must admit that they kept me awake today. Our lesson was in Geometry. I love Geometry. OK, just because I suck in math this year does not mean it was ALWAYS like this. *humph* Anyways... yeah. They speak in Mandarin all the time. lol... Oh! And they didn't know I could understand a majority of what they were saying. Until today, that is. hehe... :P This happened like this:
One of the AsianGuys: "FUNG PEE!" (basically means "fart" in Mandarin)
Me: *turns around swiftly before I could stop*
Both AsianGuys: *looks embarrassed*
Me: *raises eyebrow*, *smiles*, *laughs inwardly*
Yeah.. it was weird. lol.. I wasn't sure until after class when they were stalling until I was looking at them then they asked me...
AsianGuy 1: Are you Chinese or Japanese?
Me: *amused* Chinese.
AsianGuy 1: Oh. *pause* Um... are you ABC?
Me: *confused* What do you mean?
AsianGuy 1: *repeats*
AsianGuy 2: Where are you from?
Me: What do you mean?
AsianGuy 2: Where were you born?
Me: OH! Uh.. here.
BothAsians: Oooh.
*walk towards door*
AsianGuy 1: You look Japanese.
Me: *lol* I know.
Hm... besides that, nothing happened. *sigh* I just miss Will a whole lot (which is possibly the understatement of a lifetime). I can't see him until AFTER June 4th!!! Argh. Pooey. Just plain pooey. Grrr. I can't barely take it and it's barely been a week since I last saw him. Well... :) At least there are phones. Not like we talk everyday, but yeah. It's all good. I think about him everyday.. does it make up for it? *thinks* Nope. Oh wells... enough about that. It'll make me sad again.
Well, I just took the APUSH AP Exam on Friday. It wasn't bad. Well, it was all right. :) The night before, Will and I were studying and I was RIGHT! Muahaha... lol... I went over the Colonial stuff with him after he said that it most likely won't be an essay. hehe.. He was wrong. :P Nah.. still love him. OK... and I'm still talking about him. Hm... anyways. Yeah, the questions were... just plain sucky. I did like half of them. lol.... I hate multiple choice. I LOVE essays. :) They're easier. And the essays were easier and quite fun to write - in my opinion. The first one was about... um... OK. I forgot. lol... But the second was the most difficult. You had to choose between one on how the economy of Massachusetts and Virginia affects their politics. Umm... I hate economics and government - but I knew more about the colonial times than the Mexican War. In fact, I knew squat about the Mexican War. lol... :P It was OK though. :) I was quite confident about my essays but now that I've dwelled on it, I dunno. Hm... oh well. :) It was all for the experience. haha.. AND I missed my math test. :D If I'm lucky, I'll get a 3. I definitely won't get a 4 or a 5. And I'll most likely get a 2. But yeah. Oh well. Should've studied more. But what the hey! I can't. I have a short attention span. I just plain dunno how to study. At least I tried! :) It's saying something. Usually, I just don't study.
Hm... and the SAT classes have opened my eyes to the fact that standardized testing sucks more than ever. OK. According to them, you can get into UT with a score of a 1900 at the least IF you go in the category like you want to major in something rare (like Janitorial Arts) or you're from a far away state like... uh.. Maine. Soo... I'm shooting for at least a 2000. Can I do it? I dunno. I suck at tests. My guessing ability has decreased in reliability since the start of 11th grade. It still saves me here and there, but see. I use it mostly in my math tests - which are, this year, BAD. Bleh. OK. Lets forget about math. In fact, I think I'll go to bed. :)
Well, g'night all!
Sweet dreams.
