Well! Today was quite interesting - as well as busy. But before I go to that, I will talk about yesterday. :) Yesterday was great. Yesterday was swell. Yesterday was incredibly fun. Yesterday was odd. Yesterday I saw Will (and I went to school - but that is irrelevant). Anyways, we met up at 7 at the theatre to see "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy". Alone. Together. With my parents knowing about it. In other words, it was our first real date. hehe... :) Sooo... we went in and I saw the person I least expected to see: Mr. Miskelly, the physics teacher. OK, I don't have physics and I won't ever have physics (in my high school career, at least) but I know him because of Pradnya and vice versa. Also since the last time I went by his class room I was hyper and, well, a hyper Iris is just plain odd - times a thousand. lol... Well, it turned out he was seeing the same movie too (it was extra credit for his class).
Well, after that, I never saw him again - but I did see Will. lol... (duh). It was quite an interesting movie and it was funny - in the weird way. (I won't spoil it for those of you who want to see the movie, so I'll stop there.) Soo... after the movie, Will and I weren't rushing to call our parents because there was a catch to me seeing him - also we're never in a rush to leave. My mom said that if I see him tomorrow, I cannot see him until a month later - after the SAT. So basically I can't see him until June. :( *sniff sniff* And it's already hard with a day and more than torture after several days. I understand where my mom's coming from though so I won't put up a fight. So yeah, we walked around the theatre several times. *sigh* It ended all too soon. Well, lets move onto today. That's just too depressing to think aout (though I just got off the phone with him. :D)
Well, I woke up at 8:40 this morning to go to my first class of TestMasters. We had a diagnostic test and it was tiring and I was sleepy. Very sleepy. And quite bored. Though I saw people I haven't seen in ages who go to Bush. There was Jim Wang (who I knew because he had his tux shirt on because of orchestra UIL today), Christine Nguyen, Michelle Naik, and other people I don't know but I know they're from Bush. I must admit I probably wouldn't have known them if I had friends there with me, but yeah. I was alone there with one girl from Hightower that I didn't even know went to Hightower (she had her letterman on) and another girl that sat next to me and this Indian guy to made loud scrunchy-scratchy noises when he scratched his hair WHEN HE LEANED BACK ON HIS CHAIR OVER MY TABLE. ugh... Disgusting. People should take daily baths. LONG daily baths. Anyways... Oh YEAH! I met my sister's best friend's (or close friend) older sister, Meena. She's nice. lol... soo... lets speed forward to AFTER the class.
*fast forwards*
I'm waiting outside for my parents to pick me up which was weird since my dad's always abnormally early. So I call him and it was weird. The weirdest part was this:
Me: So where are you?
Dad: Just got out of Korgers.
Me: Oooh.
Dad: Yep! Oh yeah! Your mom has a new car.
Me: WHAT?!
Dad: Your mom's driving the new car.
Me: *thinks about whether he means a toy car or like a REAL several thousand dollar car* Oh.
Dad: Well, I'll be there in about 10 minutes!
Next thing I know, he's there and my mom isn't. Then he was like "where's your mom?" I was like "she's supposed to be here?" Then he made as if to get out of the car and he was like "OH! There she is!" I looked around and there was this new, black, shiny, Honda Pilot coming towards me - with my mom as the driver. I was like *surprise!!!*. LOL... It smelled of new leather. Later, I found out it had a DVD player, CD player, and a bunch of other cool stuff. OH! There's a butt warmer! lol... And a thermometer. And it was SO cozy. lol.. soo... after that, my parents split up separate directions with my mom doing errands and my dad driving me to the house to change into my trash bag for UIL and then speed back to my school. Now lets summarize that.
1. got there and waited a LONG time until we got to practice
2. had to so Soto-Hunting so I could make copies for the basses
3. boarded the bus - dozed some
4. got at Dulles and got quite nervous
5. competition was... um... anyways... (we ended up making 2's - not THAT bad since we had a band conductor)
6. changed out in the parking lot in front of Joy and Sarah's car where anyone can see us (we think Parul and his mom did :\)
7. went to the Thai Cottage (yumm... :P)
8. went to the mall and took photos in the photo booth with all four squeezed in (I actually like these photos somewhat)
9. Maerilly and I stayed there until our guardians/parentals came to pick us up
10. Becky remembered me (still sore about the test... lol.. I should sleep more before I go on another job interview)
11. went to the Japanese place Christina introduced me to and got myself GOOD tapioca
12. went to Wal-Mart to get some mats for the new car - and I found a movie (The Perfect Score) which fits perfectly with the fact that the SAT is coming up
13. had a parking practice (because I hate parking and am quite bad at it - though sometimes I'm good. I guess it just depends.)
14. I now officially have my own car!!! - with no license. :)
Now... I'm just worried about the AP tests. IT'S AP WEEK!!! AHHHHHHH! lol.. yes, well. Hm... English first. I have to look over the literary terms. A lot. :) hehe... Well, tomorrow, I'm going to go to the temple and try to see if I can get hours tomorrow and Monday at the A Step Above Child Development place. I HAVE TO GET HOURS. :\ They're due the day we come back.
Just think about it: I wake up at 7 in the morning on Monday, go through several hours of torture, then go straight to the Child Development place ALONE for at least 2 hours (preferably 3) with the kids. The bad kids (though I have become attached to CJ). lol... so yeah, I supposed it's all good. I just wish he could speak a little clearer.
*sigh* Well, I better go now. :)
*sniff* I miss Will.
