Interesting Revelations

Hm... well, today started out as pretty normal. It took me about thirty minutes to get my butt out of bed for my class. I slept through at least a quarter of each class. I finished my bio homework and studied for the quiz later on the day. Then, I went to the gym. - pause- lol... nope. I kid you not! I went to the gym.

I went with a friend who went there and it was pretty interesting. I rode the "bike" for about thirty minutes and for the next forty-five minutes, I went from weight machine to weight machine. Let me tell you something, right after that bike? My legs? I couldn't feel them. It was like 'legs? What legs?' haha... but yeah. I am so going to hate this tomorrow when I drag myself out of bed feeling like I got run over by a steam roller. Anyway, I am really proud of myself, but I guess the fact that this was new and is a novelty helped a bit. I mean, if I did this regularly, I'd probably get SO bored - BUT! I need to lose some weight. haha.. I think I got a bit pudgier since I came here.

Hm... I failed my calc test most miserably. :) That's not a story to tell though. Wait, scratch that, that's a story that I certainly do not want to tell.

Also, my printer/scanner/fax/copy machine won't scan what I want it to scan. Silly little bugger. I still need to find a name for it - but that's not the point. The point is that it won't scan! It always stops at "connecting to PC". I mean, that's swell and all but XAVIER IS CONNECTED!!! Apparently, Mr. Printer doesn't get that or something. Same thing with printing my homework assignments. I mean... It will print, eventually - but there IS a key word there for a reason. :)

I think I'm going to get a head start on the homework today and do my anthro paper and finish reading chapter 3 and at least start chapter 4. I also need to attend some sort of tutoring thing for math and chem because I am dying a most horrific death in those classes. You'd think that when I switch to an anthropology major, my science and math (or mostly science) workload would decrease in some ways. No, apparently this only happens in a different universe because in mine, they like to torture me.

On the plus side, the weather here is pretty nice. Yesterday wasn't (it was raining rather hard the entire day but it WAS cool) but today had clear skies and cool weather with a nice breeze. Beautiful. It'll stay this way until next week when the overbearing Texas weather comes back. Darn. Hm... at least my first class tomorrow is at 2 in the afternoon, even though it is chem.

OH! And Oyinda and Rakhi are going to visit on Friday and stay for a night! :)

OH CRUD. I just remembered I have a bio test next Wednesday.

-bangs head against wall-
