A Typicalish Day

So... I've finally gotten a feel for this. Well, I still have to refer to my map of the campus once in a while, but what do you expect? Every day is different and UT is one of the biggest campuses in the US. (And it's not an excuse! It's the truth!)

Today was relatively normal though I had a nice 'healthy' dose of stress due to the fact that my first homework assignment was due today - for CALCULUS. I'll get into that later, though. So, I sort of woke up at around 0730 because Amy, my roomie, has class at 0800. I didn't fully wake up until 0800 when my alarm clock went off (and I have the awesome kind that talks to me, with courtesy to Hannah). I got ready and I went to the JCL (it's a cafeteria) for breakfast of scrambled eggs, a hashbrown, a biscuit, and reduced fat milk (there was no skim). After that, I took the remaining milk up to my dorm and packed up all my school stuff and went off to school.

Today was a little different in the fact that it literally revolved around my math class. I have math everyday but this was going to be my first graded assignment! And I suck at math. -sigh- So, I had the help of a friend in my FIG because I left a couple blank that I couldn't remember (or didn't know) how to do. I got help in the first class (the Seminar), my second class (biology), and my third class (anthropology). And no, I wasn't slow because I was stupid (though that sometimes may be the case). I was slow because these days, I actually pay attention in class - except I sort of slept through half of the chem class yesterday until the professor dropped Na in water so that made a loud blast. Well, when math class came, I turned in my homework even though I had 2 questions blank. At the end of class, I asked the professor about them and he explained and then told me that if I wanted to, I could take my homework and work on it and give it back to me right after the next class - and I did. So... during my last class (a biology discussion session) I finished my homework and did the work for the class. Then, I figured out where the professor's office was and it turned out to be in the same building, four floors above.

I MADE IT! I got it to him in the nick of time and he said something about a wire. lol... I was just incredibly happy. Yeah... after that, I called Dookie on the phone and we talked while I went back to my dorm to drop off my stuff, then went to JCL and ate my lunch at... around 1650. Along the way, there was no signal so I lost Dookie. So... my lunch ocnsisted of seasoned rice, macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes with gravy, a yoghurt parfait (with yoghurt, grapes, strawberries, and pineapples.. or pears. I was still thinking about it.), and a drink I was curious about titled Izze - Sparkling Pear. It just turned out to be water with fruit juice - but it did count as one serving of fruit. :) That is what I call a healthy meal.

haha.... then I went to the market to see what they had and I ended up getting Bounce drying sheet thingys, an eraser, and little sticky tabs. Ohh... now I'm excited about doing the laundry! :)

Now I'm inside in the AC in the comfort of my room and I'm going to stay here. I even changed to my comfy stay-in clothes! Yay!
