Dislikes of Resumés and the Like

Well, I'm currently listening to "Just the Girl" by The Click Five (recommended by Miss Maerilly), trying to do my English homework, and trying hard NOT to scratch my arm. lol... let me start from the beginning... (at least for the two latter parts).

We all know the words 'resumé' and 'recommendation letter' right? LOL... well, if you don't, you will soon enough if you want to get (or have a better chance of getting in) in a university or get a job, etc. We all also know Ms. Clarke, my English teacher, right? Well! She decided that it would be a swell idea to assign a project to her English class that consists of writing YOUR OWN recommendation letter and resumé. OK, well, we all write our own resumé but that recommendation letter aspect of this assignment? Ugh... I hate it. I've been at it for the majority of the day (well, the majority of the day when I'm at home) and I am only halfway done! I mean I hate talking about myself - unless it's a scenario where something funny happens. The point is that this self-recommendation writing is a pain in the butt. lol.. the only fun part is me making up the teacher's name and contact information. :) Let's just say I based it on the 'Harry Potter' series. hehe... :P Hmm.. I could go on with my pointless ranting (since no matter how LONG I rant about this, I still have to do it) but I won't since this is only to vent out my feelings because right now, I have self-recommendation-writer's-block and this might help a smidgen.

As for the part where I'm trying hard NOT to scratch my arm, that would be because of my dear sister, Connie. Well, she scratched my arm and left a LONG one. Hmm.. approxiamately 4 inches long? Yeah, well, it itches a bit and I know me scratching it to perhaps relieve a bit of the discomfort would only make it MORE discomforting so I have to try to ignore it. It's not working since my arm keeps on brushing against my shirt and THAT action means that it's also rubbing my scratch. I can see the scabs forming. :) That's good. Less chance of an infection!

lol... Anyways... nothing much has really happened. Just the usual: school. Hmm... I have no idea how I'm doing in any of my classes since I haven't gotten any (or much) of my grades back except for Medical. *sigh* I'm not to thrilled with that, to say the least. On all the assignments I have received, my highest grade is a 100 (on only one assignment: My Ebola Poster) and my lowest was a 71 (on my pop quiz). Umm... I have one "A", one "B", and two or three "C"s. Well, unless you count the 71 as a "D" then I have one or two "C"s and one "D". I hate bookwork. We went through that book all LAST YEAR! It's driving me insane! lol.. then there's the fact that I always do my math homework in that class except for last time. *sigh* That brings up another bad thing. Last time was my presentation on First Aid for various things/body parts/scenarios (because the students are supposed to teach the students *rolls eyes*). I did that PowerPoint about a week and one day BEFORE the day I presented it (we fell behind, as always) and the slideshow was about 22 slides long. How in the WORLD am I supposed to remember that much information?? In short, I don't think I did that well on the presentation. I frequently had to read from the PowerPoint. Of course, I always do that since what's the use of remembering the stuff when it's right in front of you? - except I did it more than usual this time. *sigh* My school year isn't going particularly good. So bummed...

Hmm.. I may be retaking the SAT again and I may also take the SAT IIs for Biology.

Besides that, nothing much has happened! I shall go now and I know I didn't post any pictures this time but don't worry. The pictures'll be up soon. I just don't feel like posting them up. I just feel so blue.

On an ending note: School. Is. Gay.

*smile*
