It totally ROCKS! hehe.. I didn't read it yet (I still have to finish "Scorpia" by Anthony Horowitz) but I will soon! For now, I'll just yearn for it. It's quite a fat book and a pretty good deal considering I got it for $12! I LOVE things on sale! It totally rocks! I mean, what use is it if you get something for $10 when you could get it for half that price! Money doesn't grow on trees you know!!!
This despicable thing to the left was what my dad bought. Ugh. What is it? Well, it's a box of 100 cigarettes, of course. My dad bought 4 of them. Two brands: Virginia Slims and one other. My dad bought them for a friend who was going to have a party and he didn't have a card to Sam's Club. Ugh.. I was SO filled with disgust that my dad had to put the boxes of dung into another box and cover it with another box. I didn't let my book anywhere near the concealed boxes. I won't have them besmirch my beautiful book! Horrible how people smoke it so much I'm surprised they haven't suddenly turned into smokestacks. I mean they might as well belch out smoke as one since they serve the same purpose. I have nothing more to say in this matter. Just "UGH!!!"
On a happier note, the book to the left was the book I was reading at the Border's Bookstore at the Fountains in Stafford while drinking a cup of a Malt Freeze (which is basically coffee, chocolate syrup, malt powder, and whipped cream - Yumm...). I finished the book as well. It's pretty good and I'm very happy and I feel quite accomplished that I finished it. However, the fact that the sequel ("Cirque du Freak: Lord of the Shadows") comes out in May 2006 which is basically when I graduate from High School (YIPPEE!!!). The graduating part is cool. The waiting-for-the-book part is NOT. What really bugs me is that there are several other books out there that are sequels to this (all the way to book 14 or something like that and this is book 10 - I think). Darn the fact that just because the author's from the UK doesn't mean that US readers have to wait A YEAR in order to get the next book when over there, they're several books ahead. *sigh* This also goes with the Alex Rider Adventures series (of which "Scorpia" is a part of).
Now for the pictures from the camera. :) (**note: I will not post much of anything on my family besides my sister and I and perhaps one of my dad. My mom doesn't like her pictures out for the public. My dad too, but some of the pictures he's in, he's also accompanied by something that I'd like to post. Plus he's more indifferent.**)
Umm.. you know what? Nevermind. *sigh* They won't let my pictures on. Maybe it has to do with the thunderstorm that's going on right now. (DARN THEM!!! *smile*) Well! I'll try tomorrow since I have to go tend to my nightly hygiene ritual and then read a couple of pages of "Scorpia" and "Eldest" and then I'm off to bed. I have a WHOLE LOT of homework I didn't exactly do but I honestly WAS planning to do it today - except my parents decided to have a family outing today. All's good. All's good.
