The Way - and The Day - of the Pineapple

Hiya all! :)

Well, I slept at around 3:30 am today/last night trying to study for my APUSH (AP US History) TEST today. Then I had to get a ride to Sarah Yu's house so she could take me to school for the OrChEsTrA OfFiCeR's MeEtInG this morning. Sooo... I was supposed to get there at around 6:50 am, but I got there at around 6:55 - perhaps more around 7:00 am. :D Well, I called Sarah when I was in her driveway, but it turned out she was tending to her oral hygiene needs. hehe... :) She was quick though for she came out in about 2 to 3 MINUTES. It was all good. :) We then commenced to picking Maerilly up.

Well, we all got there on time but that MeEtInG was sort of short. lol... It was around 5 to 10 minutes? *thinks* Hm... OK, I'm not sure of the precise amount of time, but it's around there. lol... :) I don't remember it being about much... I was sort of StUdYiNg for my APUSH TEST in first period. :\ Well, when I got to APUSH, I continued to study and we did some reviewing which wasn't THAT adequate, but good enough. lol... Then... there was... the TEST!!! It was pure horror!!!

lol.. it wasn't THAT bad. I mean, all tests are pure HoRrOr to me as well as pointless. They just cause a bunch of lost potential SLEEP-TIME AND I find that I forget everything the test was on AFTER I take it. lol... It's not good, but then it's not my fault that teachers are promoting the new educational program: LEARNING-AND-FORGETTING. The test wasn't as bad as I thought but I couldn't remember some things so I had to use the OLDE TIME method of - you guessed it!!! - GUESSING!!! lol....

After that, it was MeDiCaL. My regular teacher, Mrs. Green was currently indisposed for the week because she was in LAS VEGAS supposedly taking a course to further her knowledge. *snort* I have one word for you: GaMbLiNg. :D lol... Well, so we didn't go to clinicals today. *sniff* So we all stayed in school and we were SUPPOSED TO watch 3 movies about DYING and DEATH but we didn't. lol... I had LiMe JaLePeNo FLAVORED FrItOs. hehe... I ate some and I went online and went to www.sparknotes.com and www.pinkmonkey.com to look up "The Awakening" by Kate Chopin. lol... Why? I had English fourth and we had a test in the class on our Outside Novel. I originally was going to read (not finish reading, but read) "Mona in the Promised Land" by Gish Jen but I still had 150 pages left last night to read, there was no SparkNotes NOR Pink Monkey notes for it, AND I liked my tradition of never finishing a school-assigned book. :D Sooo... today, I picked "The Awakening" and borrowed the book from my friend DOOKIE. hehe... :P That basically made up my MeDiCaL InTeRnShIp ClAsS and so that clss wasn't particularly exciting.

In EnGlIsH ClAsS, we immediately started the Outside Novel Test. It wasn't as bad, but I don't think I did very well on it. :( I couldn't think of enough InFoRmAtIoN to put down for some of the short-answer/essay questions. 'Tis a bad thing. *shakes head sadly* After the timed test was done, we all didn't do much but we DID get a new assignment that reminds me of the assignment some of my friends at TERRY had turned in last week. One good thing though: Dr. Street DID NOT mention anything about Bibliography Cards. hehe... *BIG SMILE* I don't exactly understand the assignment that much. I believe we have to write a paper analyzing something (perhaps on the development of the WILD WEST) based on the notes we already took during class and stuff. I suppose that's why we don't need BIBLIOGRAPHY CARDS since he already knew where our sources were. It's due sometime at the end of this six weeks. Hm... :\ Too soon. lol... OH! And at the end of class, we all voted for our class favorites and OMG. My name was on it. Someone has NoMiNaTeD me. I totally did not believe it when Woody was like "Hey, Iris! Your name's on here!" and there it was. I am SO going to try to find out who nominated me. lol.. no worries. I'm not going to hurt them or anything. :P

Well, AfTeR ScHoOl, I went to the French Club of which I was the Head of the Food Committee. haha... You remember the chips I MuNcHeD on in Medical? :) Those were supposed to be for the club. Well... the rest of my class helped. :) By the time I got to the club, the bag was half-full, which was pretty good. I thought it was going to be completely empty. haha... :D At the meeting, I turned in my $26 for the Bal Masqué but I still need to get a dress. :( I'm not looking forward to that since it'll be my 2nd time looking for a dress. I get a headache whenever I go out ShOpPiNg. We also spoke about future trips to French-Speaking countries. Like I already signed up to go to France in late June. :) My late BIRTHDAY PRESENT. hehe.. The problem with that was that only 4 people signed up to go (I'm going with a friend of mine named Christina Chin) and the minimum was around 10. HAHA... SO, I asked Madame whether the trip was off and she told me that it was off with the company BUT that we would just do our own thing with a small group and we would RENT AN APARTMENT WITH 3 BEDROOMS!!!! haha... I CAN'T WAIT!!!

Well, I have to go do my HoMeWoRk now for tomorrow. I have:

Algebra 2 - 2 pages from the text book (bleh)
Orchestra - none (though I COULD practice... hehe)
French 3 - study for a quiz
Chemistry 1 - read Chapter 10
