lol... in my case, my WeEkEnD has been SUPERB. hehe... :) I will now commence to blog perhaps what will become THE LoNgEsT entry here! :D hehe...

Well... I started the MoRnInG with waking up at around... *thinks* ... Okie... well, around 8:00 or 9:00 am. It was HORRIBLE. lol... I was supposed to go to the place to get my PaSsPoRt done so I could get it in time for my trip to France in late JuNe. hehe... I just CAN'T WAIT!!! :P Well, since there's always a LONG LONG LONG line, my mom wanted to get there earlier. Hm.. well, we got there late and there was quite a large waiting line. :( *sniff* WELL... my mom decided to NOT do it that day so she PoStPoNeD it until Spring Break or something of the sort. Therefore - in other words - I woke up early for No ReAsOn WhAtSoEvEr. 'Tis a horrible thing, indeed-e-o. :) Well, we decided to call my sister to tell her to get ready so we could go to the mall and try to find my DrEsS. And YES, if anyone's going to the Bal Masqué, you'll see me in a dress. I just ShUdDeR when I think about it.
*shudder*
hehe... anyways, before we went home, my mom and I went by My Hoa to get some groceries and then we started for home. Well, when we got home ("we" being my mom and I), we put up the GrOcErIeS and took my sister to WeSt OaKs MaLl. There, I got a headache - again. lol... And I yawned right as I entered the door. And as it turned out that my sister, too, is going to the Bal Masqué, she needed a dress too. Well, we first went to DiLlArDs to find a dress. My sister got hers there. lol.. I got something - but t wasn't exactly a good thing. See, what I got was a HeAdAcHe. lol... :D WELL, after THAT, we all went to JC Penny to try to find something. :) All the dresses there were... well, they were all taller than me AND they all were in plus sizes. :\ lol... after that, I didn't want to shop anymore. My mom was like she didn't care and she'd even get a dress that was OvEr $100 for me. I was like "WHAT?!" lol... :)
Well, she decided to come up with going to ThE BoDy ShOp. Out of all the places in the mall, she (my MOM) decided to go the THE BODY SHOP. WELL, we actually DID find something there. TWO things, in fact. *surprised look* haha.. I KNOW. Well, the first dress was black and it has a red ribbon right under the BoObAgE ArEa (hehe) and a bow and the front part of the dress was ShOrTeR than the back. Oh.. and it was a StRaPlEsS... *looks at feet* :) My mom and my sister actually said it looked GOOD on me. lol... THEN they were going to buy it until I tried the next dress. Well, this next dress has SpEgHeTtI StRaPs and it was in two layers. The outer layer was ShEeR (as Maerilly called it... hehe... sorry, I'm not familiar with these fashion terms) and the inner layer was satin-like and a type of pink. Maybe along the lines of HoT PiNk... FuScHiA? lol.. well, the inner layer stopped at around my knees. The outer layer has little designs on it - like LaCe. The bottom part was cut in a special way and it had RuFfLe like dealies and the front part was shorter than the back. lol.. well, my mom and sister decided the SeCoNd one was better. lol... what was I to know? I didn't care. A dress was a dress no matter what. lol.. My sister was like "HOTNESS!!!" *snort*
So yeah... right after we bought that dress, my mom seemed ReLaXeD. haha... :D Well, right after that, we went straight to Pradnya's house to PrAcTiCe for trio. Well... that was around 2:00 pm. We practiced and we talked. hehe... :) We improved some too. And I had to leave because I had to meet up at the MoViEs. :P I was supposed to go to the movies and and hang out with my TeRrY BuDdIeS who consists of Hannah, Mike, and Will. Well, they ended up coming late. Originally, Will was not coming. It was only supposed to be Hannah and Mike but then according to her, Will called last-minute and said he COULD come and so they waited for him to arrive at her house. Sooo... yeah. :) I was nervous. Why? Because I liked him (no names... you should know anyways though.) If he reads this, I'm going to die. lol... Like, literally. But I have to get it out somehow so, therefore, I'll leave it here. :D OK to tell the truth, I thought he didn't like me anymore and it'd be weird and blah blah blah. OK... now I'm going to DROP DEAD if he reads this.

Well, they eventually got there and we bought our TiCkEtS for "Hide and Seek" for the 7:10 show I think it was. lol.. the dialogue between me and the ticket vender is somewhat as follows:
- Hello!
- Hi! Can I have a ticket for -
- (to Will/Hannah/Mike) What're we watching?
- Oh... (to vender) "Hide and Seek"
- Do you have your ID?
- Ummm... well... uh...
- *laughs* no problem! Just bring it next time!
I SWEAR he knew I wasn't 17 yet. lol... :) Well, since we were EARLY, we all decided to go to Wendy's to eat. lol.. I wasn't particularly hungry. I got myself fries and a milk shake. :) It was pretty good - even though I didn't come halfway into finishing it, but hey! lol... it was REAL EnTeRtAiNiNg (my table)! lol... After the eating deal, we went to the movies and got our seats. Oh YES! We also met Maerilly there who was going with some of her other friends. lol... She was watching the Wedding Date. :) Well, the picking-of-a-seat took a while. lol... We got a seat near the top, and then got a seat down on the floor... right IN FRONT OF THE SCREEN. Well... yeah. I started to feel nervous and had a BAAAD feeling about seeing this.
WHY? Well, because whatever I see (movie/tv-wise) I think I'M in it. And at night I see weird things. Examples:
- The Exorcist: a malevolent-looking stranger walks into my room, stares from the mirror at me, my bookcase moves...
- The Ring: girl walks down the hallway, stares from mirror, sees rings on all blank screens..
- Final Destination 1: saw dead, strangled man in tub
- Hide and Seek: hears things from closet, sees dead people in tub
- Harlequin Fetus: everywhere... no other word for it. (I'm now attached to them though... so no worries.)
- Dragonfly: LARGE STARING EYES
- etc.
Well, so yeah. I watched it, AtTeMpTeD to cover my face with my sweater. Didn't work too well seeing as Will and Mike tried to take it off. :) hehe... But Will eventually joined me for... a minute or two - but hey! lol.. I'm not alone. hehe.. So yeah... the movie's good and I love the twist. :) I love movies that make me think. After that, we all went to the new center near the mall. You know, the one with BeN AnD JeRrY's and so on. There, we got yummy COFFEE!!! haha.. I LOVE coffee. I'm addicted to it. I don't like soda and stuff, but I LOVE coffee. hehe... I got WhItE ChOcOlAtE MoChA.. I think. Well, it was White Chocolate something. hehe... it was REAL good. Especially for the weather. We did several things there... walk, run, comment, sit. hehe... we sat in the FoUnTaIn. :D VERY cool. haha... It made my butt cold though. lol... It's all good.
I could've stayed over at Hannah's house which would be WAY cool but my dad who was just SO lenient and versatile and nice had been waiting around the mall for me and so blah blah blah. Long story short: I didn't get to sleep over. A real BuMmEr - but I had my optometrist appointment the next morning AND I had solo and ensemble (but that wasn't the problem. The problem was the appointment.) Soo... I went home with only memories and two pictures. lol... :) Yes, I know, I'm just odd and idiotic-like. lol...
Well, I drove home and nothing much happened after that. I did go OnLiNe and talking to Mike and Will and I spoke with Hannah on the PhOnE. :) lol... Hannah was being her old, daring self. Well, out of that, I got a couple of NeRvOuS SpElLs because of Hannah and I got some LaUgHiNg SpElLs and I got some HaPpY SpElLs and I got some SaD SpElLs. lol... Oh... I might go to the Bal Masqué with someone. :) Might. Still haven't gotten a confirmation yet. :\ Oh well. lol... Still gots a day. :)
I slept at around 2:30 am. Caffiene sure does get to you - and when you're speaking with Hannah. :) lol... AND when other things come up like the fact that SoLo AnD EnSeMbLe was the next day...

Well, I woke up this morning at around... *thinks again* lol... at around 9:00 am? lol... I dunno. Well, I went to my optometrist (all you out there that has no eye problems - you guys are LUCKY). I found out that I have a -6.?? in one eye and a degree less in the other. WHOA am I blind. lol.. it's not that bad if you're the one with the blind-vision. hehe... Well, I DID get my glasses when I was in 2nd grade. That's like.. 9 years! lol... Yeah... *sigh* Hm... Well, my eye doctor told me my eyes looked healthy. :D lol... they should be seeing as my name was Iris. hehe.. :) My parents kept on telling me how they wanted me to be an optometrist. It WOULD be interesting. lol.. Dr. Tu. :D Dr. Iris Tu. hehe... that just sounds FuNkY-CoOl.
Well, we went to lunch at Cici's Pizza and then we went straight home. I needed to get ready for Solo and Ensemble. I did a bit of polishing, a bit of practicing, a bit of rosining, and a bit of wracking-my-brains-on-what-to-wear. lol... I ended up picking a long, black skirt and a black shirt/blouse deal. ANd I had a pink (yes, I said pink. :P) and black suit jacket. :) I got to Dulles Middle School before Maerilly and Pradnya. No worries though, they all eventually got there (and at the same time too. lol..) and we practiced once. In fact, we took a longer time tuning than practicing. lol...
We then waited... and waited... and waited... to be judged upon. The more we waited, the more the tension grew. The more the tension grew, the more nervous WE grew. The more nervous WE grew, the more colder we got. The more colder we got, the worse we would play. The worse we would play, the longer it would be to get happy. The longer it would be to get happy -
OK.. I think you all got the point. hehe.. :D
WELL, we played, we got nervous, we WON. Well... lol... we got a 1! lol.. OMG! We got a ONE ONE ONE ONEONEONEONEONEONEONEONEONEONE!!!!! lol... we were going to STATE! We were going to state in Austin! *takes deep breath* :) OK.. I'm calm. (By the way, in order to go to state, you have to get a 1 on a piece, grade 1)

Well, the other people that are going include, Joy Chou, Nirav Sanghani, Bridget McCormick(?), Sarah Yu, Ha Nguyen, etc. :) lol.. it's going to be GREAT. :D Well, after we all marveled over the fact that we were going, we all went home - VERY HAPPY, of course. lol... My parents didn't know what it was until 5 minutes later after I explained it to them. lol..
Well, my family and I went to Viet Hoa and my sister and I got TaPiOcA. :) Yummm... lol... Well, we went home and from there, nothing much happened. There was dinner and I took a 2 and a half hour nap that was supposed to be only about an hour and a half long. lol... :P It's all good. :) No worries. And here I am. I was talking but everyone left. I suppose I should too so I'll end it here. :)
