The Whole Truth and Nothing But

THAT, my friends and viewers, was the first thing I saw. The first thing I thought? :) That would be along the lines of "*sigh* Another year in the prison also known as school." lol... I may have been exaggerating but the place is quite boring and you're stuck there for six LONG hours and even though my favorite day of school is the First Day of School, it was still excrutiatingly dull. Probably the only interesting thing was to meet my friends after not seeing them (well, some of them) for two and a half months. And Pradnya got me a sari. You know, one of those REALLY REALLY REALLY long "scarves" that Indian females drape across their bodies or hang around their neck. Mine's a nice golden color but the edges are fraying a bit so I'm going to see if I can fix that. I also have to figure out how to properly wear one. lol...

Now... let's get a move on with the school day, eh? :) I'll make it more interesting. LOL.... I must say that I'm in love with the photo feature they have here. hehe.. Well, first I'll tell you all my schedule...

*BIG grin* hehe.. First period is Psychology H/AP! My teacher's Mr. Velazquez and he's pretty cool. Too bad his class is going to be pretty busy but quite interesting and we spent at least two hours in his class going over the usual first-of-year paperwork. *shakes head sadly* The work'll be fastpaced since we only have a semester to learn what you should learn in a year. *rolls eyes* Anyways... I'm sort of looking forward to starting the class (but not to recieving the textbooks - I have a feeling I'll be having a whole lot of heavy books this year). He gave subtle hints on how there'll be some 'sharing' and that by the end, we all should be like psychiatrists. hehe... *rubs hands together* I just can't wait!! Well, I'm not evil but you so cannot say that there's no ounce of entertainment to it, right? :P I can totally see it: "Dude! You are --" "*sigh* Your tone that you just showed me tells me you have internal conflicts. ...You do know that I'm always here to talk to, right?" :D OK, I'd sooo hate myself if I did that to myself but I was only joking! Sort of.

My second period would be.... *drum roll* ... US GOVERNMENT AP. *sigh* I actually can't believe I took government as an AP class. Anyways... the teacher's an elderly chap (*snort*) called Mr. Scherer. The first thing he did was burst my bubble. The second thing he did was bursting even MORE bubbles of mine and lecturing about what is expected in his class. However, the third thing he did was tell jokes that were actually funny and made the class laugh. :) He went off by telling us all how he was going to teach the class like in College and told us that barely a handful of students ever recieve "A"s in his class so you had better study because some things he DOESN'T talk about may still end up on the test so DO YOUR HOMEWORK. He seemed pretty reasonable though and pretty cool, though also strict. I mean he's got to be the strictest teacher so far. The class rules were the usual and he was going to give us a bunch of homework since the class is NORMALLY one year in colleges but this one's going to be in a semester. (I STILL CAN'T BELIEVE I'M TAKING GOVERNMENT AP!!! I hate government and I hate politics and I am somewhat of an anarchist and, if not that, totally indifferent. I mean back when Bush and Gore were running, I sided with Bush just because I thought his name was better than 'Gore'. LOL!! :P This is why I plan not to go anywhere near law.)

My third class would be Biology II AP. *groan* NOT ANOTHER AP CLASS! :D Actually, I've always wanted to take this class. The others were just there for fun and to challenge me to see if I can do it (and to test my lifeforce's limits when it comes to Government. *wink*). Why did I want to take this class? Well, it's better than Chemistry because there's not much math and it's just all facts that you don't have to derive yourself. Well... except genetics. :\ OH! And after I found out you get to dissect a cat, I was SOOOOO in! I have nothing against cats besides the fact that one ate one of my pet baby turtles once. I never really completely forgave the entire species of domestic cats since then. hehe... I'm going to have soooo much fun with Mr. Kitty! *diabolical grin* I truly love all animals and if a cat came up to me, I'd probably croon over how cute it was and pet it but if there's a chance to get even?? hehe... Here comes the Daughter of Satan. ...OK, too much? Well, it was just a figure of speech. Anyways! Back to the class! The teacher is Ms. Knipe. She's probably the best out of all of my teachers so far!! She's a cross between Mrs. LaFleur (my 10th grade English teacher who was almost ALWAYS hyper and sooo talkative) and for some reason, a voice in my head says "Mr. Trinh". Hmm.. That I have to think about further. Anyways, Knipe is pretty cool and I LOVE her award system which (when you have accumulated enough) can buy you a grade. :D She spoke of how we had weekly labs and we were to stay after school on Tuesdays to do them. We'd also be taking our tests after school so as not to waste time and I TOTALLY love her berry-scented soap! hehe... She's also pretty much the most lenient of teachers so far (I dunno much about Velazquez though.. he didn't talk much so I couldn't say much about him until after I've gotten to hear him talk more).

Apparently, my next class would be Orchestra with Mr. Soto, the resident band-director-crossed-over-with-orchestra. :D He's the lenient teacher who talks to his students and I call him 'Soto' at times and he answers. lol.. He's pretty cool and how do I know this? I've had him for the past three years going-on-four. The only problem with this is that I have orchestra down for credit... for an ADVANCED credit. I want it to be "Band Lab" which is the noncredit version of Orchestra. If I get that, I want to change it to eighth period so I can go straight home right after Medical Internship. Umm.. right, I'm getting ahead of myself. :D Either that or I get Office Aid and help in the Library. hehe... I would love to get Office Aid and help the librarians. The library's nice and roomy and I like places with books. I'm going to try to talk to my counselor (Mrs. Cogan) about changing my schedule a bit. Ugh... why do we need a noncredit class?? It's rubbish. We don't need any!!

Well, I have four more classes but I have them tomorrow since my school has block scheduling. I have my entire schedule with me but I'd rather just post the rest after school tomorrow when I get home so I'll also get to tell you how THEY went. :) Oh yeah! I have first lunch on A Days and third lunch on B Days. *sigh* That's going to do my stomach some good... Hmm.. on the other hand, I DO get to drive to school this year! OH OH OH OH!!! One more thing:

Hehe... That to the left would be foam. Foam from a SOAP DISPENSER. Now why in the world have I posted that up here? :P Well! While in Orchestra, I had the sudden urge to go use the tinkle pot and after bugging Soto for a bit, I got to go. :D THE RESTROOMS ARE EQUIPPED WITH NEW STUFF!!! There are new toilet paper dispensers which make a nice soothing noise when you pull out the paper and they don't have messages scratched into it saying things like "I love Robert" and "Cynthia is a --BEEP--" (don't ask. *grin* People are just plain pathetic sometimes). There are also new towel dispensers which match the ones in the stalls except bigger. And the KING OF ALL NEW TOILETRIES would be the new soap dispenser! They matched the other dealios but when you pushed the lever thingymajig, out comes FOAM exactly like the one in the picture except it was in my hand!!! I'm in LOVE with them! :D I've encountered them before in the hospitals and I'd used them whenever I got the chance. *sigh* Those were the days... And now they're here!!

Well! I'm off and until tomorrow's edition of "The School Days of Iris: Illustrated", stay safe, happy, and clean!

Oh yes! And drug free!!!
