Harry Potter is Here - AT LAST

Well! At 12:01 on July 16th, 'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince' was released to the hundreds/thousands/millions of people who showed up at the numerous Harry Potter Midnight Parties to Par-TAY and to be one of the first to get their books. :) hehe.... Happy to say that yours truly was one of those people who waited at a bookstore to recieve my book that I had reserved on December 30, 2004. So, I got there a little before 11 pm and my sister and I along with our dad waited. My sister and I got our faces painted (I had a golden snitch and my sister had a golden scroll with jewels) and we went around to browse and then read. My ticket's number was 216 so I had a little bit of waiting to do after 12:01. Soo... it turned out that the books were sold at 12:01 but I got my book at 12:50. :) All's good though. HAHA...

Well, I didn't read it in the car though I did want to mainly because it was too dark (though I did sniff my book and pat it with a silly smile on my face :P) and because Hannah had called me right when I left the bookstore so I was busy talking to her. We got home at around 1 and then I started the book at around 2. And, as we all know (or should know - or at least I know), whenever I'm reading a long awaited book (and if this doesn't count as a long awaited book, I don't know what does!), I read it and go back to the parts I like and skim it a second time. Sooo, I ended up finishing a little before 10 am with a total of two restroom breaks in between. :D hehe... I had a little bit of liquids earlier on and I had some really GOOD coffee at the bookstore. The book was obviously quite good. It was definitely darker than the others with quite a few light moments which made me laugh a whole lot. :) If someone were to be right outside of my room, they'd think I was "mental" due to the fact I laugh suddenly every once in a while. I also read some bits aloud and such. :D Reading animatedly is quite fun!

There were many things I wasn't suspecting that happen but some things, I had guessed correctly. *proud face* I don't want to hint at anything and have spoilers but... Like JK Rowling had said Harry would have a little bit of romance in this book, "a little" is an understatement. There was romance everywhere! OK, for Harry, it was "a little" - sort of - but man! It was like a whole lot of Valentine. haha... I mean where ever you look, people are falling for one another! lol... anyways, I got a lot of background information in this book and I didn't like the ending as much and I hate Snape and Malfoy even more but I don't know WHY for the second book in a row, one of my most favorite characters HAD to die. WHY?! The first one was Sirius. Now him?! ARGH! *sniff sniff* Yesterday was my mourning day for the dude. All I did was read the book and watch TV with the occasional injesting of food into my mouth through my epiglottis and down my esophagus down through the sphincter into my stomach... and we know the other places it goes - but I'm not going to get into that. hehe...

Well! I really like the book over all and the ending was VERY surprising. I hadn't really expected that much (and I know, I'm mean leaving those of your who haven't read it and don't plan to read it in the dark). *sigh* Well, I'm going to go downstairs and eat lunch and I'm quite hungry. *stomach growls* :D Oh yes! And for those of you who really wanted to know for how long I didn't sleep (or did sleep)... I woke up at 11 am on July 15th and I slept on July 17th at 2 am. Sooo... that being 13+24+2=39 hours. So, out of thirty nine hours, I only slept for about 3 and a half hours on my little nap yesterday. :D

Oh yes! My Senior Pictures Appointment is on July 20th at 11 am. *sigh* I dunno what to wear! I dunno why it has to be so early! I dunno why reminders of school has to come so quickly! And I don't know when school starts! lol.. and I haven't done anything for it as of yet. :\ This sucks most spectacularly!
